Build Confidence And Have Fun With ActConfident.
I encourage people to act confidently by using their bodies and voices to courageously edge out of their comfort zone which will inturn boosts confidence. I genuinely have my students best interests at heart and my lessons are fun and motivating. I wish everybody knew that communication and performance skills can be taught and I want to help you so you know you can go out, speak to people and do what ever it is that you want to do.
Speaking with Confidence

This course is a culmination of all my years of teaching. It is a course for 10 – 12 year olds that takes place in Patcham, Brighton, Uk. It is a ten week course with a half term break in the middle and follows a structure.
Each week will have; Journal time to find what we like about ourselves, Vocal work for a clear voice involving funny phrases, body work where we experiment with how we want the world to view us and connection work which is fun improvisation senaricos to build trust in themselves, active listening, engaging with others and laughing at ourselves.
Over the ten weeks your child will create a riddle about themselves and on the final week (2nd July) you will be invited to come and watch them perform each others riddles and guess who is who.

Coaching in Acting

This is a fun way to increase confidence and show how the body, mind and voice are linked. Through these lessons speech will become clearer and will project further, posture will improve and confidence will grow. Through reading scripts vocabulary will increase and an understanding of character, reaction, status and levels will develop.
Exams can be taken with NEA or LAMDA these accredited exams carry UCAS credits G6 – G8.

Coaching in Public Speaking

Whether you want an accredited qualification through LAMDA or NEA, to feel more confident speaking in public in general or whether you have a specific time socially or at work/school where you would like to focus on your communication, I can guide you through it by tailoring sessions to you.
We focus on 4 areas; the mind, the voice, the body and connection. We look at how they all affect each other to make great speaking a habit, so you can relax and be yourself.
Coaching in Devising Theatre

This is great fun! Using the exam boards NEA and LAMDA, here your creativity can run wild. By taking a stimulus you will create your own setting, characters, relationships and use any dramatic device that works for you to create your own scene. You will create a script and then perform it – looking at all the subtext and acting skills you would use in acting lessons.
If you choose to take an exam, they are accredited, with Grade 6 – 8 carrying UCAS credits.
